Plans change, lives change, minds change. I'm no longer going to England for the summer. Now would not be the best time in my life to take six weeks off. I have no idea what I'm doing with myself or my future. I might be staying in PA, I might be moving back to MI, I might start a band, I might go to school, I don't know. All I do know is that I'm not happy at all. I've been very depressed for over a month and it won't let up. I just need to figure out what and where will make me happy and follow that.

Thanks to a friend, I now frequent MySpace.com. It's some what of a meeting place, a blog place, whatever, but it's really cool. I've already started talking to a few people, and that's a good thing for a social retard like me. You can go directly to my profile by clicking the link at the bottom left corner of this page. I have a blog up there which I will probably post too more often.

For the past three weeks, I've been doing comedy in downtown State College. It's been a lot of fun. I do stand-up and improv. Stand-up is always something that I had been curious about, because I've been the class clown and felt that I might be capable of doing it. The first two weeks went really well; I got a lot of laughs and it felt very good. Last night didn't go so well, but hey, everything has its ups and downs. We moved to a bigger bar this week, too, cause the other bar got too small for us. If anyone's in State College, we're doing it at the Crowbar.

I've added a little box right up above (see it? see it!?) with some of my personal recommendations. It's not as if my opinion means anything, or if I actually have any credibility, I just thought it might be nice to pass on a few "thumbs up" to all 3 of my viewers. I might actually update it, too!

The layout to my gallery is pretty much finalized as well. I'm using an awesome PHP script called DAlbum to keep everything organized. It's really awesome, really flexible, and really nice looking. I highly recommend it for those looking for a good script.

It's only been a few months (!) since I last put anything on here. I never really got into the whole website making process like I thought I would, but I still enjoy having my own domain where I can put stuff. My host is great and not expensive at all, so I don't see it as a waste of money.

The one section I *will* be working on and adding to currently is my new Photo Gallery. I got myself a Canon PowerShot A60 (2 megapixel) camera last month for my England trip and I absolutely love it. I've been meaning to get a digital camera for quite a while. Expect to see more photos over time.

Another part that's kinda sorta related to this website (but not really) is the Frank Black IRC Chat applet which I host on this site. It's for frankblack.net people to come together and chat, although that rarely seems to happen.

That's about it for now! We're less than two months away from my trip to England and I cannot wait. April blew by, and we're almost into May. I'll be moving back home to Michigan at the end of May, a few weeks before my trip. Catch you guys (all 2 of you) on the flipside!

At the end of January, I met the most amazing girl in the world. I say world, because she happens to live nearly on the other freaking side of it! We've been talking ever since, and, as mushy as I am, she's like no other. Therefore, I'm heading to England this summer. To mark this momentous occassion in my life, I've added a nerdy JavaScript counter to countdown until the moment I (am supposed to) land in London, England. Sure, the thing could be off by a few minutes, maybe an hour, but eh, it'll have to do.

I can't believe I'm actually going to England. It seems like such an insane and crazy thing to do. It is an insane and crazy thing to do. Regardless, I'm doing it, and I couldn't be happier. Wish me all the luck. I've never flown before. This should be interesting.

I'm self-destructive. If I'm in the wrong mood, I become self-destructive and usually say things I don't mean, or normally wouldn't say otherwise. It becomes difficult not to say them, but it's even more difficult or impossible to take back what's already been said. Consider yourself warned.

Welcome to the new and improved BusyDoingNothing.net. I hope you enjoy wasting your time as much as I've enjoyed wasting my time putting this site together. There's not much you can see quite yet, but in time, I'll be putting up random gibberish for all to drool over. Until then, you can watch me stare at my monitor and occasionally play guitar by clicking the webcam in the top left corner.
